"Another in the Fire"
 
Four years ago, After the building was lost to fire, On Chrismas morning, many donated supplies to replace our destroyed items. While my youngest was playing the song "Another in the fire" on the donated keyboard, I started painting with supplies that had been also donated.
 
I was reminded that we are never alone. I prayed that God would create something from the pain. This painting represents the new creation we are in Him and also surrendering to Him for His glory. Often we don't know why we have to go through suffering, pain, or trials. But we can know He is always with us. Nothing stands between the Lord and His love for us.
